This morning Jeremy had PB Cheerios again and Amelia had yogurt. We were off to school without a problem. The same cannot be said of Erica who missed the bus. It came a little earlier than yesterday.
School went well. A&J returned their books and got new ones. Amelia's is a 160 page masterpiece called Paige the Christmas Play Fairy. I am sure it is horribly written and illustrated like the rest of them. Jeremy picked a nice dog book. I am urging Oma and Opa to read the Fairy book.
Amelia also turned in the Silent Auction check.
My dad said they were both well behaved. Yesterday Jeremy napped and Amelia did not. Today they reversed positions. I got home from work around 5:45. I asked if they wanted to go to Cal Tort and the answer was "yes" so off we went for dinner. That was an exciting trip. It was about 3/4 full. They seem to be in the process of changing their logo. At least on their cups.
They had two of those 100s of flavors machines. IT had a main screen with many types of coke, hi-C, fanta, fanta free, powerade, mello yello, Mr. Pibb's and lots of other things. Then you pick the flavor you want or want to add. They had at least 10 HiC's A&J picked fruit punch. Here's a sample of the Diet Coke flavors
THe kids shared a quesadilla and chips. Then we went whole hog and went to kiwi. We had tiny servings. The three totaled $5.94. Amelia tried milky way flavor. Jeremy had cake. I had dark chocolate. We sat next tot the same people we sat next to at CalTort. Obviously more than one person had this idea.
It is now cold and rainy. We are expecting 3/4" of rain. We went to Wegman's after Kiwi and got some random items - Big Cheez-it's, pasta sauce, yogurts, lentil chips, etc. The total was $42. Amelia guess $36 and won the price. Jeremy when told to guess lower than usual guess $6 and then upped it to $16 when I told him to do that.
We got home at 8:30. Unloaded the groceries, took out the trash and went to bed. But not before adding a link to our Mommy Chain. Amelia was a little sad when I was taking the trash out missing mommy, but seemed to recover when we did the chain.
In the mail, we also got a card from Kathleen and Ellen.
